Every listing is reviewed before publication. We take accuracy seriously, particularly where ham sandwiches are concerned.

What makes a five-star wake

Good turnout, strong tea, sensible timing, a decent eulogy and enough seating for at least the immediate relations.

What does not

Weak tea, a missing urn, and anyone describing a sandwich as “a bit dry” without offering solutions.
